HAM ON DISK
An electronic media magazine dedicated to the support of
the Amateur Radio user. A magazine for all amateur radio
operators, from the basic-no-code novice to the OM.
DISCLAIMER: The views represented herein do not necessarily represent
the views of the editors. Monthly contributors assume all
responsibility for ensuring that articles submitted do not
violate copyright protections.
NOTE FROM EDITOR: Greetings from Ham On Disk central!
Many of you will be reading this magazine thanks to the many SysOps
of ham radio BBS' who have decided to pick up the magazine on a regular
basis. If you run a system or know someone who runs a system that does not
carry HOD, and would like to, please contact me. All pertinent information
for contacting HOD is contained within the CONTACT.HOD file.
I would also like to thanks the people who generously donated their
time and efforts in writing articles. Without you, this magazine would be
rather hollow and un-interesting.
On the topic of writing, I would like to mention that I would love
to have people write regular columns on various topics. Packet radio,
Band Conditions, DF'ing, DX'ing, etc. If you have an idea, jot it down,
flesh it out, and send it on over! Anything is at least considered for
publication.
Do you edit or contribute to your local club newsletter? If so,
why not send over articles that your club has found interesting? If there's
something in HOD that you would like to include in your club newsletter,
please feel free to include it. Of course, it would be nice if HOD was
mentioned as the source, and remember to give the appropriate author full
credit for his/her work.
Are there any changes you'd like to see? Drop me a line, I'd love
to improve HOD to the point that everyone enjoys reading it! You can't
please everyone all of the time, but is there harm in trying?
73 de Todd, VE3OZL.
